What it is: A domain name is the address of your site, what people type in to find your site.
If you already have a domain name, you can skip this step. If not, use this handy tool below to see what is available. For this search feature below, type in the name of the site you want, without including the "www." The tool will then tell you whats available at .com, .net and .org. If the name you want is available, the extension (.com, .net or.org) will be blue, if it is unavailable the extension will be in red. If what you're looking for is not available, try something new or Contact Us for assistance. Once you have a site we reccomend registering it through Sunwell using our partner Webiness. What it is: Think of it this way, your domain name is your address, your hosting plan is the size and type of your property.
If you already have a hosting plan you can skip this step. Nearly 90% of Sunwell Customers only require the Value Plan, even for Business customers. If you need any further details, click the "Details" button below. For more advanced users, we also have Virtual Private Server options.

What it is: The design is the general look and feel of your site. It includes colors, images, text styles, etc.
If you already have a design you can skip this step. Websites have become the modern storefront, the image of your business. Sunwell offers high quality designs, some as pre-designed templates which can be customized to fit your business and others which are built from scratch to be 100% unique. Step 4: Add Business Features!
What it is: Features add to the basic options of the website. They make it more interactive, more visible or simply more functional. They also include things you dont see, like extra email addresses or a database.
If you do not need any additional features you can skip this step.
An example of features you can add to your website are:

This allows customers to search your website for content. We offer many options for this feature, including ultra powerful search engines powered by Google®.
- Blog
Blog's are a great way to allow your customers to interact and post thoughts. You have full administrative ability over your blog so you can monitor the flow and content of converstaions.

Analytics allow you to track almost every aspect of your website. You can see who is coming, from where, for how long, using what search terms, etc. It's a great way to determine where web-related marketing dollars should be spent, and what sort of ROI you are getting from them.

This is slowly bevoming less of a luxury and more of a standard. Search Engine Optimization or SEO, is a style of website design which aims to make your site as search engine friendly as possible. Typically, this is accomplished by targeting specific keywords or search terms. Your site is designed to allow those keywords to easily be conveyed to the search engines and thus drive more web traffic and potential customers your way. SEO is also important for ensuring that when someone types your business name in a search engine like Google®, Yahoo® or AOL®, they actually get your business.
- Shopping cart system
